off-shoulder sweater
Changes between (evazion) and (Timmaine)
A specific type of shoulder-less sweater with an extremely wide neckline which ensures that the garment sits just below the shoulders, leaving them bare. Often features a thicker, sometimes mantle-like hem along the top.¶
¶
Frequently appears as a distinct variant of ribbed_sweaterribbed sweater.¶
¶
* Should [b]not[/b] be used for a normal or moderately wide-necked sweater simply being worn off_shoulderoff shoulder (post #1553067). ¶
* Does [b]not[/b] imply off_shoulderoff shoulder by default, despite the name. Only add thatoff tagshoulder [u]if[/u] it meets the requirements of that tag -- adjusted for the fact that this garment is already off the shoulders.¶
** It [ib]is[/ib] off_shoulderoff shoulder when it's notably slipping down one shoulder (ex.: post #1529526), a considerable distance down both shoulders and showing plenty of breast (ex.: post #1450585), or is on the verge of falling right off (post #1412689)¶
** It [ib]is not[/ib] off- shoulder if it's slightly lower than normal, but not exceptionally so. Anything lower than as shown in post #1532332 is probably off- shoulder.
