The [b]Adepta Sororitas[/b] (Sisters of Battle) are a [[Warhammer 40K]] tabletop army. Generally considered the female equivalent to [[Adeptus_astartes|Space Marines]], in that they are warrior nuns divided into chapters, wearing [[power armor]] and wielding [[bolter|bolters]]. The Sisters of Battle are considerably more fanatical than their male counterparts, making greater use of religious iconography and symbolism.
