furina (genshin impact)

[[Genshin Impact]] character. She is the vessel of the Hydro Archon [b]Focalors[/b], the God of Justice.¶

[spoilers]During the events of Chapter IV, Furina is revealed to not be the true Hydro Archon, but a human copy created by [[Focalors_(genshin_impact)|]] in order to impersonate the latter to save Fontaine from a prophecy foretelling its destruction. To do this, Furina was cursed with immortality and forbidden from revealing her impostor status to anyone, as being discovered would cause the prophecy to be fulfilled. In the end, Focalors destroys herself to give her powers back to [[Neuvillette_(genshin_impact)|]], the Hydro Sovereign, who saves Fontaine from the prophecy. Furina, meanwhile, is released from Focalors's curse and becomes a true human, free from her duty to Focalors.[/spoilers]¶
