A hairstyle in which most or all of the hair is gathered at the back of the head and secured with a [[hair tie]], [[scrunchie]] or similar device, and allowed to hang freely from that point.¶

This tag is specifically for plain ponytails at the back of the head. ¶
As such, [b]do not[/b] use the ponytail tag with [[side ponytail]].¶
