The division between the three colors may be an immediate change from one to the other or it may be done in a gradient, in which case the [[gradient hair]] tag would also apply.¶

If a character has three hair colors that are split vertically at the top of the head, then fall such that the color hair colors form two distinct sections, then the [[split-color hair]] tag would also apply.
