The Ak 5 (Automatkarbin 5) is a license-built Swedish version of the FN FNC assault rifle and built by Bofors on a license from FN Herstal. It is the standard service rifle of the Swedish Armed Forces since 1986. Some notable differences from the original FNC are the absence of three-round burst mode, a larger trigger guard, a longer handguard, and commonly comes in all-army green finish by default.
This tag applies to all Ak 5 variants such as the modernized Ak 5C with Picatinny rails, and many others.
