A cosmic phenomenon consisting of a massive collapsed star.
A black hole's gravity well is so great that not even light can escape. This also creates an effect known as gravitational lensing, distorting light from objects behind the black hole.
An object falling into a black hole will stretch in a process known as spaghettification.
