breadbug
An enemy appearing in the Pikmin series. A small, bipedal creature with beige legs and face, as well as a brown body which notably looks similar to a loaf of bread, hence its name.
It doesn't attack the player or and if their Pikmin, and instead try to drag treasures and the corpses of fallen creatures to its nest. It can only be damaged by an direct Pikmin throw or by bringing something it is holding to the ship, causing it to get dragged along and toppled over.
It also has a boss variant known as the Giant Breadbug.
