char's counterattack
A 1988 anime movie set in the primary U.C. timeline of Gundam, taking place in Universal Century 0093, 5 years after Gundam ZZ.
Making its theatrical debut on March 12, 1988, Char's Counterattack is the final culmination of the original saga begun in Mobile Suit Gundam and continued through Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ, marking the final conflict of the fourteen-year rivalry between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable, and the end of the EF/Zeon conflicts.
Two novels would be written by Tomino Yoshiyuki based on earlier drafts of the movie, Beltorchika's Children and High-Streamer.
