A mudra (Buddhist hand gesture) representing meditation.
Dhyāna is Sanskrit for "meditation". The Japanese name is zenjou-in (禅定印), usually shortened to jou-in (定印).
Mida no jouin is a variation with clasped thumbs and index fingers.
