The sixth game in the Dragon Quest series, and the second (and last) to appear on the Super Famicom. It has since been ported to the Nintendo DS, and that port is the only time the game has been officially released outside of Japan. The subtitle of the English version is "Realms of Revelation."

Dragon Quest VI features two female player characters, Mireyu and Barbara. An additional side character is Tania, the girl the main character is engaged with.
