finger on trigger
Holding a gun with the finger on the trigger or inside the trigger guard, especially when not prepared to safely fire it. The opposite of trigger discipline.
It is possible for someone dual wielding to practice trigger discipline with one hand and not the other, e.g. post #1188474.
