flame atronach

A recurring monster throughout The Elder Scrolls series since Daggerfall, acting as its series take on fire elementals. Each installment has given them a different appearance.

In Daggerfall, Fire Atronachs merely appeared as flaming, but otherwise featureless humanoid male figures.

In Morrowind, Flame Atronachs still appeared male, but now wore armor consisting of engraved black metal greaves, a chest harness, and mask.

By Oblivion, Flame Atronachs were depicted as overtly feminine, with figures sporting noticeable breasts and hips. Their armor became more form-fitting, gained a set of pauldrons, and their masks having more crown-like spires. They were also noticeably bottomless, though still showed no noticeable gentilia.

In their Skyrim depiction, which subsequent games take after now, Flame Atronachs' armor gained a more "volcanic stone" appearance, with their extremeties, pauldrons, and other anatomy gaining sections resembling molten rock. Their mask was also changed to one shaped like the bottom half of a woman's face, while extending out the sides into a pair of horns.
