A fictional mecha from the Gundam series. It first appeared in Zeta Gundam from 1985.

RMS-179 GM II

An upgrade to the already outdated original run of the GM mobile suit. It possessed a 360 degree panoramic monitor, but apart from that, a standard issue beam rifle, and minor upgrades to sensors and thrusters, it was for all intents and purposes the same as its predecessor, and struggled in combat.

The GM II was used mostly by the Titans, the Earth Federation and its EFSF branch with their classic red and white color scheme. Some units were also used by the AEUG/Karaba to some extent (but with green and white colors) until replaced by the Nemo.

Succeeded by the more advanced and potent GM III.
