When a character has a hand near a weapon (especially the hilt) without holding or touching it.
Some common situations like:
- Ready to hold/touch a weapon that is already being held or carried. Sometimes it can be used together with ready to draw.
- Ready to hold/touch a weapon that is not held or carried.
- A floating weapon that floating above hand or by telekinesis.
