This page lists generic, recurring tasks that may be of note for current and aspiring tag gardeners. Much of this list is adapted from the old Shinjidude's Tasks to do thread, but put into wiki format to make it easier to organize and expand.

Searches that require a Gold+ account are marked with an asterisk * and put towards the bottom of a section.

Missing identification

Pertaining to missing basic identification, meaning artist / copyright / character tags, as well as source.

The basic "fixme" tags.

Posts from Pixiv that don't have any artist tag, but also are not marked as a dead source, so are likely recoverable.

Candidates for filing a tagme request. Use some common sense of course, a no_humans object_focus post will likely struggle to reach 10, let alone 20 gentags.

blue_archive chartags:0

Missing character tags. Replace the Blue Archive example with whatever copyright you're familiar enough with.

Application of translation request and translated simultaneously. Probably needs the request tag removed.

Pertaining to missing tags where they can be applied.

Likely missing an outdoors tag.

Male focus? Likely missing character counters.

Needs character counters applied.

Likely missing solo or multiple views.

Frequently has posts that should be cowboy shot mixed in due to autocomplete mishaps, sometimes cow girls.

• Take a close look at the image to make sure there isn't a hidden animal.

Violating the completely nude guidelines:

If you can't see their crotch or lower, use nude instead.

Partially submerged is frequently confused with wading.

Mistagged looking at viewer, probably replace with facing viewer.
