ipod classic
The original iPod as it was first introduced in 2001.
It has a large circular button interface which eventually developed into the Click Wheel which can be used for convenient scrolling. Although it boasts the largest storage for any MP3 player (up to 160 GB), the eventual shortage of replacement parts and decreasing demand (no thanks to the easier usability of the touchscreen iPods: Touch and sixth and seventh generation Nanos) led to its discontinuation.
There is much less visual difference between the generations, so most of the models are not tagged.
Unlike the other iterations, the Classic models only come in black and silver.
