kimodameshi
A Japanese game played most often by teenagers in which a group of people pair off and try to navigate a path at night while other people try to surprise or scare them, much like a Western haunted house.
Often seen in romantic situations since it's an excuse for couples to cling to each other, also much like a Western haunted house.
Often translated as a "test of courage."
