masking tape (medium)

Masking tape art is a type of art which makes use of strips of masking tape as an unconventional tool for artistic production. The type of tape most often used is a patterned tape known as washi tape (和紙テープ). The artist may construct their art entirely from masking tape or only use it for colors or patterns.
