Metroid game that was announced at Nintendo's E3 presentation 2021.
Following the events of Metroid Fusion, Samus Aran takes on a bounty to investigate what happened to the E.M.M.I. deployed in hunt of surviving X Parasites. Shortly after landing, Samus has a near-fatal encounter with a hostile Chozo warrior, causing her to "forget" many of her latent abilities she arrived with. From then on, her ship's navigation assistant uncovers more information about the circumstances surrounding the planet while guiding Samus back to the surface.
It was originally listed as a Nintendo DS title "to be announced in the future" in 2005.
