newtype flash

A common visual effect across the Gundam franchise (usually a flash or a glow). It represents the telepathic powers of newtype humans, who are the next step in human evolution generated by space colonization.

The newtype flash is a brief but strong surge of newtype power that usually warns the newtype towards danger, something helpful, an ally or someone in need.

The stock sound effect used for the Newtype Flash is based off the flexatone instrument.
