Nintendo's eighth video game console, successor to Nintendo Switch. Like the Switch, it is a hybrid console, usable as both a handheld game console or docked to be used as a home game console.
It was revealed on January 16, 2025 and released on June 5, 2025.
Its Joy-Con 2s have a protrusion for clipping into the sides of the main body magnetically, rather than sliding onto the sides from the top like the original Switch.
