picket patrol ship

An alien spacecraft from the Macross series.

The Picket Patrol Ship is a 0.5 km long Zentradi ship used by their fleets for advance reconnaissance. Prior to any main fleet entering a potentially hostile or unexplored area of space, the Picket ships are sent in to scout and report back to the command ship.

The Picket is armed with several energy cannons and missile launchers for anti-ship and anti-mecha defense.
