pitcher (container)

A container with a handle and large open mouth designed for pouring drinks into a cup or a drinking glass.

A small pitcher used to hold condiments is a creamer.

Not to be confused with a jug, which has a narrow opening. The vessel called a jug in British English is called a pitcher in American English.
