platform truck

A small flatbed hand cart for transporting heavy loads. The basic platform truck consists of a flat platform with four casters and a handle for pushing or pulling. Variant designs may feature handles at each end or side panels.

Not to be confused with a pushcart, which has sides instead of a flat bed, or a dolly, which is just a flat platform with four casters, but lacks a handle.
