pm1910
The Russian derivative of the Maxim gun design, the PM Model 1910 was a heavy machine gun adopted by the Imperial Russian Army in 1910, that saw extensive use from World War I to the Russian Civil War, World War II, and even continues to see use in the Russo-Ukrainian War in modern times.
The weapon is visually distinguished by its ridged water jacket that has a large flat cap on top, for filling the jacket from the top. It is typically depicted mounted in a two-wheeled cart with a large shield to protect the gunner and loader.
