Minecraft alternate reality game created and popularized by Minecraft Youtuber Wifies.
AveryTheMayo found a laptop in a storage locker with Minecraft preinstalled and a premade world. As he played in the world, he discovered a stripmine and an ominous book he did not write. He posts a video online asking for identification help.
The video flashes a deciphered code for a Google Drive link that contains exploration footage of Avery mining and discovering a cave containing structures and generation that doesn't exist in Minecraft. As Avery continues to explore the cave, it leads into impossible, not naturally generating structures and terrain as he's pursued by an unknown presence.
It's revealed that Avery did not create the Google Drive or the exploration footage, but it was recorded and edited by d3rlord3, the previous owner of Avery's laptop.
Eventually, D3rlord3 discovers a crossroads and turns left, finding an open yellow gate. Whatever is behind the gate is unknown, as it has been censored by D3rlord3 in the video, but he flees after seeing it and leaves the ominous book warning the future laptop owner Avery of the Minecraft world.
The structures and Minecraft world itself is heavily implied to have been built by the King in Yellow, who influenced d3rlord3 into seeing what was behind the gate doors that drove him insane.
