shellcracker (sonic)

A series of robot fiddler crabs created by Dr. Eggman that made their debut in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Their Japanese name is カニパンチ (Kanipanchi) which is a combination of the Japanese word for crab (kani) and the English word "punch".
