side braid

A single braid hanging on the side of the face, anywhere other than in front of the ears.

If the braid is in front of the ear, it's braided sidelock instead.

Side braids should not be tagged braided ponytail, which starts from the back of the head.

For braids on both sides, use side braids instead.
