The VF-11 MAXL Kai is the customized civilian version of the VF-11 Thunderbolt variable fighter. It first appeared on the Macross 7 japanese mecha anime TV series.

The VF-11 MAXL is piloted by Mylene Jenius.

It was designed by Kawamori Shouji in the 90s.
