I know that feeling, man. The closest we got was a saiyan woman in the Bardock story, but not super saiyan. Incidentally, the characters in Dragon Quest VIII power up in a very DBZ-esque way when you charge their tension, the Gohan-looking hero looking particularly like a dark-haired super saiyan. So Jessica's "max tension" form is probably like how a female saiyan may look, sans yellowness, since she was designed by Toriyama too.
