Memes aside, Nanoha is less a Gundam in a skirt than she is a Pretty Cure with a beam cannon, at least at this stage in the franchise.

Nonsense. Nanoha doesn't do anything that, say, the Pretty Cures haven't been known to do. She just does it with a computerized boomstick instead of an accessory that's supposed to double as merchandise.
What really weirds me out is why none of the Sailor Senshi are present here, given that half these characters owe their roles to them.
