Tragic? Maybe. But please...we've orphaned & killed the unborn from eggs in the thousands (definitely more!), and we will keep on doing it until we've gotten all that we need to make the next new shiny armor/sword/item that we need.

The mama Nargacuga stumbled upon one witless hunter after another, and quickly dispatched each one. The Monster Guild Master noticed her recent successes, and gave her an urgent quest with the opportunity to increase her Monster Rank (MR). She completed it and ranked up to become... A Lucent Nargacuga! She's actually in this picture but you can't see her yet. She's just a little late.
