Nope. I just couldn't correlate the generic recurrent Hadouken-energy ball thingy with a specific show (I do remember something like that in one of the fighting games though). Sendai's speech bubbles are pretty generic too.

As a crude analogy, it felt like tagging a "shiba inu" with the "doge" tag just because it is a Shiba dog.

Even though you say that, I don't think there's any game/series other than Naruto that has the main character uses clone technique to form that energy ball. But well, knowing a lot would just make things hard to be related after all.
