I always do this in every durability related MMO equipment, then I repair at about 1%.... is this a bad habit?

It is if you've no way to patch up your gear in the field. Most of the time, going back to town is no big deal, but it'll bite you in the ass that one time when your weapon/armor breaks and you're up shit creek because there's nowhere to repair in a jiffy.

In some games, the cost to repair them goes higher the lower the durability... Well when I still play Dragon Nest, I tend to repair them after battle.
