Artist's commentary
I exaggerated a bit when I drew it, but they were coming in from all over, and it WAS a little scary. (^^;) Maybe the blinkers' timing was in sync with the fireflies' flashes.
And thus I saw fireflies for the first time in a long while. There were loads of 'em flying around the paddy fields in our neighborhood way back in the day, though.
