    The Abyssal Railroad, All Stops

    Since the Princesses, who have quite the reputation at the defense outpost, are not fit for traveling long distances on their own. On occasions when they have to, they take the Abyssal Railroad. This is one of those times.

    The monthly publication Airfield Hime is reading, "Air Superiority", is only available from Abyssal Amazon­.

    This was featured as the number one picture on the 2/6 daily charts. Thank you!

    Not at all, in fact I like the Abyssal girls a lot more than most Fleet Girls. I think it's because they're more exotic than the Fleet Girls who are pretty much just regular humans with ship-like armaments, and the Abyssal girls are generally portrayed as sympathetic anyway, and sympathetic villains are far more interesting than stock heroes since they're allowed flaws and imperfection that make them more real and relatable. This is especially true for the Abyssals since they're fanonically reanimated sunken Fleet Girls, which means more interesting interactions with their former comrades. Hell, Warusame alone has more traits and development potential than half the Fleet Girl roster combined, which includes protagonist (lol) Fubuki. But that's just my two cents.

    Also is it just me or does this gif remind anyone of Miyazaki films in terms of strangeness, beauty and cuteness?

    Other than Jugem-t's i-class, most of the Abyssal characters also don't have much personality. They're really just enemy characters (although the true enemy is still the compass).
    So, sympathetic enemy might not be so fitting. But they do have more exotic designs.

    I think it's since Wanko and Hoppo that they get more characters, and sympathy because those two seems to be constant bullying target.
    Well, there's Wo, but her personality are not so consistent either between works by authors.

    I mean, not really. I guess it depends on how invested in the game you are.

    For me, I don't hate all the Abyss girls. Just the ones I had to fight and had trouble with, Ru-class being on the top of my list for biggest bitch and would strangle if given a chance, while the other ones like Seaport and Hoppo I'm more neutral since I never had to chance to deal with them.
    I also can't hate them entirely since they are

    supposedly the Allied powers.

    But I sure as fuck don't them like them either, but that's for more personal and ingame reasons.

    Doesn't mean I can't enjoy a few good pictures and comics about them, however.

    Not really, I find them more interesting than the ship girls as well. In fact I tend to find the bad guys in a lot of video games/animes/movie to be more interesting(and a lot more cooler) that the good guys so it's not weird at all.
