Unless it was going to be the eyepatch, it was pretty obviously going to be the mantle (or some coat or other thing that took its place), since that's basically Kiso's defining characteristic.

My guess is that Kiso's daughter is also heterochromic.... since eye color genes is heritable to offspring... btw being born with a missing part of the body does not mean your child would also be born with that body part missing

Given the scar running across her right eye, I doubt Kiso's heterochromia is genetic; more likely it's the result of that same injury. (She's probably blind in that eye, as well.)

Of course, that's applying some expectation of medical realism to fictional girls who are also 20th-century warships, so, you know, don't go by me. :)
