Seriously, as far as I'm concerned, Minarai Honpo's Admiral is the best male Admiral. He's dutiful, he takes his job seriously, he's polite, and is a professional around the Shipgirls (ie not fooling around with any of them), is good with kids, and he was key in deescalating the conflict with the Shinkeisai-kan and eventually bringing peace. Man, him and Wo-class are gonna have some amazing children!

Well, while I agree that he is a good admiral, I'll say that some are at least equal to him.

Maso Teitoku seems friendly with at least one of the Abyssal (Anchorage Water Oni), he even managed to make Fusou happy.

Soboru is basically friendly with anyone. The Camp pool that he drew had him leading lost Hoppo back home.

About the peace part... has it been stated whether the peace only happened to his area or the whole sea?

I think it also bears mentioning that this admiral can slice artillery rounds mid-flight and survive the equivalent of an airfield landing on him, as well as <ahem> being able to withstand the weight of an aircraft carrier.
