Hmmmm... a bed... on what looks like a flagstone plaza... with a manhole cover... with the shadows of tree leaves falling on a naked girl... covered with pages with what appear to be occult calculations...

The more you look at it, the weirder this mise-en-scene gets.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it. Obviously, she was on her bed practicing her teleportation spells after school, undressing herself by displacing one article of clothing at a time. It had been a long day and she was looking forward to a bath anyway, so what harm could there be in using her nascent magical ability to accomplish a mundane task? She was at the top of the class, and all those warnings from her instructor about taking witchcraft seriously were clearly directed at the students who still struggled with the most basic conjurations.

Too bad she stuttered while attempting to remove her bowtie, as the ensuing miscast dumped her along with the bed in the middle of some unfamiliar city. Hopefully she knows a quick incantation to recall herself back home, or at least some sort of charm to wipe the memories of shocked bystanders.
