I laugh about the news, that they'll change the victory pose because of this.

Same with Capcom and censoring out R. Mika's buttslap when she does CA

What's sexist about this again, I mean she's not showing a bare skin ass. I find it funny how in games you can straight up mutilate someone yet a girl shows the tiniest bit of skin or does something remotely sexy then its wrong. I don't get it and I wish it would stop.

I don't get much about this Overwatch business, but reading up on it has shown me that the issue comes from a specific pose this character performs. Despite doing some research about it, the main argument was that the pose conflicts her character and that it is simply oversexualisation. What I fail to see is that a pose be considered sexual in this sort of condition, for I would assume the outcry would not be in similar volume were she clad in robotic armour from neck to ankles.

I don't understand. Why remove the pose? Why not remove the butt? Why not remove every butt?

You have the right to watch booty. It's called Widowmaker.

Yeah, but then bliz wouldn't be posing them like that if there was armor because then there wouldn't be a butt to look at.

Little kids need to get their hands out of their pants and grow up. Not everything need to be about sex.

A simple option to disable certain poses would completely remedy the issue. Then again, this could be a ploy to draw more attention to the game. But who knows?

Well I think the new pose is nice and all, I really don't see what the reason was to replace a previous pose. Couldn't they have just had both?

I can't say I'm well versed in Overwatch, but doesn't this essentially establish precedent for future additions (poses, costumes, skins, etc) that they have to abide by this concept of "matching the character's personality" or something? Seems kind of restrictive and reduces the point of allowing players to make their own choices on how they want their version of the character to be perceived

Yeah, they change the pose but in the end everyone wins.
