The end towards season 1 of strike witches already kind of made it cannon that the world leaders still had conflicting interests so warfare after neuroi is to be expected.
After the war with the Neuroi ends, the world be desensitized to the idea of using young girls as weapons of warfare. However, fighting faceless aliens is completely different from fighting and killing another human being, and would lead to a huge spike in PTSD and broken witches, especially since they are so young.
I'm sure there would be talks about banning them under the rules of warfare, however it only takes a few countries ignoring those rules and thereby gaining the advantage to throw that idea out the window.
