There's a small bit in me hoping it's Ash challenging the Indigo League and actually winning this time around.

Most likely though it's a remake of the first season in movie format. One can hope though.

I hope old faces show up too like Misty or Brock. Heck bring the whole cast from previous regions.

Same here. I just hope this isn't some sort of trolling and we'll get our hopes all hyped up only for Ash to lose by some bullshit reason.
