It does grow back. Tooru chops off her tail and tries to get Kobayashi-san to eat it all the time as a running gag.

I wonder if we will able get to see Iruru in anime too. She looks like a fun character.

She's a good character. A bit darker than the other at start, but is really adorable after it.
If she don't appear in the anime, I'll cry in a corner then re-read all the manga till the last translated chapter... ._.

Unless we get a season 2, theres zero chance of that happening. Elma was a late character and it shows badly.

Shit man. Just watched last episode now and it's shame that they didn't included her in the anime as of yet. I hope if by any chance they make the second season then I'm hoping to see her in the anime too. I'm also curious to see what kind of familiy that Kobayashi have. It was really enjoyable show and after some material stack up I hope KyoAni decides to make secon season.
