There's no way anyone (in anime or RealLife) could possibly "look hot" in a hot dog eating contest. ;-) So, cosplay or not, I'm gonna tag this as parody...

Well it's not really a parody. It's done by the people who do the Street Fighter comic. It's not parodying anything. Sure, it's meant to be humorous but that's not the same as being a parody.

Interesting. I don't know what happens in the comic, so I only applied the parody tag based on the assumed competitive *fighting* in SF, and which seems to evolve (devolve?) here into competitive *eating*...

I can't help but think this is a poke at how it always seems to be skinny Asian people winning the hot dog eating championships.

Sakura herself said she wanted to be a hot dog eating champion in the Street Fighter Alpha OAV movie(early 2000's), but that was before she saw Ryu in action.
