Ships aren't used to moving fast.

There's nothing much to look at the open sea so this is pretty normal.

But they can move continuously, and slow and steady can win the race against anything but a jetliner. Destroyers in particular can put up a decent speed, since 'Bukki can basically make 40 mph / 65 km/h.
