Except that didn't actually happen, it was a Singularity. Remember, the Singularities are things that weren't supposed to have happened, and retrieving or destroying the holy grail reverts things to the way they were supposed to be.

Except one issue is that they will still stay dead even after the Singularity is restored, it's just that the deaths are given a more "mundane" explanation.
Like say imagine you die due to a dragon attack because of a Singularity. After it's fixed, your cause of desth just becomes "dead by bear attack."
