These four kittens will grow up to be:

Akatsuki - The cat who's always on her dignity, even when she's just done something daft like run into a closed window or fall off the kitchen counter... which sort of thing she does all the time.

Inazuma - The shy, timid cat who is super-sweet to the family, but never seen by non-members of the household, to the point where people who haven't visited more than a few times think you only have three cats.

Hibiki - The silently watchful cat who is always in the corner of the room, regarding you with an expression which might be wise affection, but equally, might just be curiosity in re what you'd taste like.

Ikazuchi - The loud, needy cat who can't stand to be alone, seizes all opportunities to claim lap space, wakes you up in the morning, won't stay off your desk, and purrs like an idling diesel truck.

Why can't I hold all these Akatsukittens

More like the one cat that doesn't runs to you when you come home, yet stays stills expecting you to pat her. Seems to be a loner, but you always see her along with your other cats.

I'm gonna need a bigger litter box.

I'm now envisioning these as actual cats, with the colors implied by the image - Akatsuki black, Inazuma tabby, Hibiki grey, and Ikazuchi calico.

I've actually had two calico cats, and both of them were like the Ikazuchi-cat as you described her (except they didn't have the high-horsepower purr motor).

And not long after I posted that, I got two of these cats - the black one even has an Akatsuki-like personality and the white one a Hibiki-like personality. (I named them "Dawn" and "Echo" respectively so that I didn't have to explain Kancolle to everyone I introduced them to.) I'd have gotten a tabby and calico kitten too, except I'm not quite that much of a Crazy Cat Gentleman - four cats for one person is too much.
