I wouldn't be surprised if she'll be called "Azure Witch" as she walks in the misty battlefield with that eerie blue glow thanks to that lizard and effortlessly kill anyone she sees, scaring the shit out of her enemies.
You know, they actually tried to recreate a phalanx of heavy shields during the Renaissance era when early firearms were being introduced to create some kind of heavy infantry that wouldn't die to gunshots... it didn't work. You just can't carry shields that stop a bullet from a full-sized rifle that aren't made of advanced modern materials.
