Its really not that great. I can see applications as an exoskeleton for some niche and auxiliary applications, but frankly if you need a really stable position you are better off with a tripod or shooting stick. I appreciate all innovative attempts though.
It was first marketed to automatic riflemen since very few actually use a bipod, a lot of shooting involves kneeling at the lowest. So the idea was to give the stability of a bipod with the mobility of a non-prone position. Like the belt fed backpack, it seems to be inspired by the Alien and Predator series. While I can see practical applications, overall they seem to be more solutions looking for a problem.
Modern hybrid slings which can be tightened up like a shooting sling on the fly basically do what this device does, but at a lot cheaper cost and less bulky execution.
